In the Mojave Desert, people often encounter famous ghost towns built around gold mines. After the gold was mined, those towns were abandoned. They have completed their mission and no one has any reason to continue living there. As we cross a forest, we see that once the trees have completed their mission, they fall down. However, unlike ghost towns, their fall opens the way for sunlight to penetrate, making the soil more fertile and their torso covered with new vegetation. Our later life will depend on the way we have always lived. We do not end up like ghost towns, but we will be like generous trees
