This issue No. 11 of 1981 introduced the “use of laser inspection of sports complex parts” article. This article describes the United States Zygo’s laser scanning optical sensor. It is already known that the size of a workpiece is proportional to the time it takes for the scanning beam to be interrupted by the workpiece. Since the scanned beam has a certain diameter (the diameter of the laser beam is about 1 mm), it is first of all necessary to be able to precisely determine the moment when the beam is considered to be “blocked” at the beginning and ending (for example when the center of the beam is interrupted) Determine the total interruption time, to get accurate measurement results. The Zygo Edge Sensing System is designed for this purpose. Since the introduction of this part of the original text is too simple, we specifically invite relevant comrades to make further briefing on the working principle of the edge-sensitive system based on the U.S. patent information to make up for the deficiencies in the preceding text.
