昆仑山垭口热水剖面的沉积特征观测、粒度分析、化学分析、孢粉分析和年代测定等表明厚270cm的沉积物记录了自18kaBP以来的环境变化信息。资料显示18—11kaBP期间这里气候严寒而干燥,为末次冰期由全盛到消退阶段。在10—7.8kaBP和4.5—3kaBP出现两次较温暖的时期。在6.7—5.6kaBP和2.3kaBP以后有两次明显的变冷
Sedimentary characteristics, grain size analysis, chemical analysis, sporopollen analysis and dating of the hot water profile of the Kunlun Mountain Pass show that sediments of 270 cm in thickness record the environmental changes since 18 kaBP. The data show that the climate was cold and dry during the 18-11kaBP period, from the heyday to the subsidence in the last glacial period. Twice warmer periods occurred at 10-7.8kaBP and 4.5-3kaBP. There were two significant chills after 6.7-5.6 kaBP and 2.3 ka BP
