The professional technology seminar hosted by the Institute of Aerospace Materials Research Center was held in Beijing from November 19th to 23rd, 1991. More than 60 representatives from factories, universities and research institutes of aviation systems attended the conference. Also invited were the leaders of the Ministry of Aerospace Research who were in charge of manufacturing technology, the representatives of the secretariat of the National Heat Treatment Society, the head of the Beijing Heat Treatment Society, the head of the nitrogen-based atmosphere academic committee of the Heat Treatment Society, and the editor of the Metal Heat Treatment magazine.
