In China’s current environment, urbanization is an irresistible trend, which will surely bring about the process of population democratization. In addition to including changes in institutional identities, citizenization also includes adapting to the city’s set of lifestyles. The object of this paper is that people who have completed the system of citizenship, that is, peasants who have acquired urban hukou, try to discuss their degree of citizenship in terms of consumption patterns and leisure lifestyles. This article assumes that even if the identity and place of residence are completed, the urbanization of peasants is still a long process. The change of census register does not directly lead to the change of lifestyles.
