通过访谈和问卷的方法,对美国和澳大利亚的观看2008北京奥运会的潜在游客进行调查,旨在找出北京奥运会对美澳游客的真正吸引力和可能妨碍他们旅行到北京观看奥运会的限制因素,为对此感兴趣的组织和个人提供一定的信息,意识到从游客的角度来说北京奥运会的优势和可能存在的问题,采取相应的措施和市场宣传策略,从而创造一种和谐和适宜的人文环境,鼓励更多的游客前来观看北京奥运会。调查结果显示出大部分美澳游客对北京奥运会怀有好感,并认为“体验中国文化”和“现场观看奥运会”构成了北京奥运会的最主要吸引力,而限制因素中美澳游客最关心的是语言障碍、交通旅行困难和高花费问题,其次是对中国和北京缺乏了解、文化误解和安全问题。
Through interviews and questionnaires, the potential tourists visiting the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games in the United States and Australia were investigated in order to find out the real attractiveness of the Beijing Olympic Games to the tourists from the United States and Macao and the limiting factors that may hinder their travel to Beijing to watch the Olympic Games. The organizations and individuals interested in this should provide certain information and be aware of the advantages and possible problems of the Beijing Olympic Games from the tourist's point of view and adopt corresponding measures and marketing strategies so as to create a harmonious and appropriate humanistic environment , Encourage more tourists come to watch the Beijing Olympic Games. The survey results show that most of the tourists in the United States and Australia have a good impression on the Beijing Olympic Games and think that “experiencing Chinese culture” and “watching the Olympics on the spot” constitute the most important attraction for the Beijing Olympic Games. The limiting factor is most concerned about by tourists from China, the United States and Australia Language barriers, travel difficulties and high expenses, followed by a lack of understanding, cultural misunderstandings and security issues with China and Beijing.
