美国广播公司位于时代广场的LED屏幕,堪称多媒体幕墙当中的代表之作。建筑物的外墙上贴着9面横向连接的弧形LED屏幕,像缎带一样紧密包裹着大厦的外墙轮廓。美国广播公司的节目《早安,美国》就在大楼里的直播间制作,由外墙上巨大的“电视机”来播放新闻、节目预告和娱乐资讯,是再适合不过了。事实上,这个显示屏是目前世界上唯一用于播放知名电视节目的LED标识,它开创了以媒体幕墙为基础的“表演标识”。这个屏幕从时代广场的各个角度都可以看到,它属于所谓的媒体幕墙,一般指的是完全覆盖建筑物外层的LED屏幕。

ABC’s show, Good Morning, America, was made in the studio’s live studio, where news, shows and entertainment were played on the huge “TV” on the exterior wall.
