古往今来,体育与艺术的共性所在,是不仅能带给人们生存的力量,带来生活的启迪,重要之处是动员人类自觉地投身并参与这一美的活动之中.体育和艺术都是塑造和追求美的事业,努力使体育与艺术紧密结合,是奥林匹克运动的理想和原则之一.正是由于认识和遵循这一共识,恰逢中华人民共和国第五届大学生运动会在西安举行,笔者有幸参与了部分宣传品的设计,从而对体育与艺术美作了一些有意义的探索和研究.由国家教委、国家体委、共青团中央主办,陕西省人民政府承办的第五届全国大学生运动会今年8月有西安隆重举行.作为主办地的古都西安,除了具备这一盛会的硬件条件外,最可贵之处是其包含了众多丰富多彩的软件内容.西安,古称长安,历史上曾有十三个王朝在此建都,是一个具有五千多年悠久历史的文化名城,汇集了大量具备世界级学价值的文化遗产,同时也是中国革命的圣地之一.因此,以宣传和弘扬这一优秀的文化美来展现当代中国大学生的精神风貌和体育美,是这次宣传活动的主导思想和创作方向.
