Fossils undoubtedly play an important role in determining the status of paleoclimatic conditions. Sedimentology, as a supplementary means, has more information on the succession of paleoclimate evolutionary sequences and the advantage of being free from fossil abundance. In this paper, sedimentology method was used to comprehensively analyze the “Peking Man” caves deposits, which provided a new evidence for the study of paleoclimate in the period of “ape-man”. At the same time, Quaternary research was also extended from the late Pleistocene to the mid-Pleistocene and given the exact time scale. Improper, please correct me.
