文章认为，中西部在经济综合实力和经济发展等方面的落后，影响了我国经济发展战略目标的实现。知识经济的出现与发展，为我国中西部地区实现经济的跳跃式发展提供了机遇。为此，文章提出了中西部地区发展知识经济的对策：１．发挥政府的领导、规划和协调功能；２．建立企业技术创新动力机制，强化企业知识经济主体意识；３．加大科技和教育投入，培养高素质人才；４．加强基础设施建设；５．加快科技工业园区建设，加速推进产、学、研相结合的步伐。６．加大中西部地区的对外开放力度 The article holds that the backwardness of the central and western regions in terms of economic comprehensive strength and economic development have affected the realization of the strategic goal of China’s economic development. The emergence and development of a knowledge-based economy have provided opportunities for the leap-forward economic development in the central and western regions of our country. Therefore, the article puts forward the countermeasures of developing knowledge economy in central and western regions: 1. Play government leadership, planning and coordination functions; 2. Establish the motivation mechanism of technological innovation of enterprises and strengthen the awareness of the main body of knowledge economy of enterprises; 3. Increase investment in science and technology and education, training high-quality personnel; 4. Strengthen infrastructure construction; 5. Accelerate the construction of science and technology industrial parks and accelerate the pace of combining production, study and research. 6. Increase the central and western regions to open up to the outside world
