中学地理教学大纲明确指出:“中学地理的教学目的,是在小学地理教学的基础上,使学生获得比较系统的地理知识和基本技能,并积极发展学生的思维能力和智力,培养他们学习地理的兴趣、爱好和独立吸取地理新知识的能力。”兴趣这一非智力因素在教学过程中的作用已日益引起人们的关注。特别是高考取消地理科以后,地理课教学过程中利用各种教学手段,培养学生的兴趣尤为重要。
The secondary school geography syllabus clearly states that: “The purpose of secondary school geography teaching is to make students acquire more systematic geographical knowledge and basic skills on the basis of geography teaching in primary schools, and to actively develop students’ thinking ability and intelligence, and cultivate their learning geography. The interest, hobbies and the ability to absorb new geographical knowledge independently." The interest in the non-intellectual factors in the teaching process has increasingly attracted people’s attention. Especially after the abolition of the Geography Department in the college entrance examination, it is particularly important to use various teaching methods in the course of teaching geography classes to cultivate students’ interest.
