经皮神经电刺激(简称TENS)疗法自Long 和shealy 首先推广到临床以来,美国、西欧及日本已经广泛应用,仪器种类繁多,国内最近几年已开始应用,但不够广泛。一、TENS 的物理参数从神经生理学观点出发,神经冲动都是电活动过程,在这过程中,可通过物理或其他治疗手段,干扰或阻断疼痛传递过程中的某一部分来达到缓解疼痛的目的。TENS 是以刺激粗的感觉神经而设汁的,选择刺激参数以脉冲短、强度低、使患者舒适感、不引起运动兴奋为宜。但到目前为止,没有一种物理参数对所有病例都有效。
