近年来,我国的盆景艺术不断发展,在很多地方,特别是我们广西,一些盆景爱好者,喜欢将盆景树桩种植在“云盆”之中,或把“云盆”当作家庭艺术品来观赏。现在我把“云盆”盆景艺术和制作方法介绍如下。“云盆”是大石山岩溶洞中,由岩石上滴下凝于地面形成的蓄水池,历经千百万年后形成一片片梯田状或不同形态的大、中、小盆钵,其边缘皱纹曲折多变,好像云朵一样瑰丽多姿。完整的“云盆”须经过人工的精细雕凿才形成,素有钟乳“云盆”或“灵芝盆”、“珍珠盆”之美称。“云盆”大多为灰褐色,边缘不太高,有五寸高左右,多呈直立状,一个完整的盆钵是不可多得的珍品。国内外的盆景爱好者,大多都只知道,中国广西桂林地区所产的“云盆”石质最
