Hollow particle spheres are added as fillers to the material, which allows the material to have a variety of useful properties. The addition of hollow spheres to the material is often done to reduce the cost of the material, but it is also the main reason for improving material properties. The best known is the use of particle spheres as a plastic filler such as epoxy, polyester, vinyl and urethane. The main purpose of adding most of the plastic made from hollow spheres is to reduce the weight because the density of the spheres is about one-fifth the density of most resins.
