红碎茶是国际上销量最大、市场广阔、竞争性最强的茶类。我国1963年开始生产红碎茶(当时叫初制分级红茶)出口,到1982年出口量己逾100万担,占国际市场贸易量7.14%,声誉大大提高,出现供不应求的现象,但1983年我国红碎茶出口反而有所减少?据了解,主要原因是成本高,卖价低,“亏损”严重,外贸部门为了减少“亏损”,促进提高品质,降低成本,采取限制和减少出口的措施。提高出口红碎茶经济效益治本的主要办法应着眼于采用先进科学技术,努力提高品质;增产适销对路的高、中档产品,满足市场需要;正确贯彻执行样价政策,调动广大茶农的生产积极性;降低成本,减少换汇成本,增加外汇收入。
