The past decade, people found that long-term low-dose exposure to certain chemicals can cause the body’s immune function barriers, decreased immunity. At present, there are more researches on the influence of heavy metals on immune function. Studies of some metals such as lead, cadmium, mercury and zinc both in vitro and in vivo have shown that they have multiple effects on immune function. It is worth noting that vanadium, as a non-ferrous metal, has a similar effect. In the past vanadium on the respiratory effects and the impact of enzymes such as more research, and the role of immune function reported less. This article attempts to collect the vanadium and its compounds on the immune function of the research data, now an overview.
