Not long ago, we visited the formerly poor village of Wenling City, Binhai Town, and the “garbage exchange.” Here was a beach formed by the accumulation of rubbish rushing from the four sides. It was called “recycling”. After the reform and opening up, “recycling” has set up a number of private enterprises, and the villagers have become rich. Among the companies that are run by farmers who have worked in the fields for generations, what impressed us most is a company named Taizhou Aotong Chemical Co., Ltd.*. Although the company is currently small in scale, it has only 40 employees and its annual output value is only about 15 million yuan.
