农历八月十五日,乃我国传统中秋佳节。月到中秋分外明。是晚,那一轮皎洁的圆月高悬在一碧万里的夜空,似灿灿明镜,像晶晶玉盘,况金风送爽,丹桂飘香,好不迷人！自古以来,谁愿误此良宵?有的登楼赏月;有的踏月放歌;有的举家夜游;有的设坛拜月,寄托“花好、月圆、人长寿”的美好愿望;有的围坐在院子里畅饮桂花酒,欢食团圆饼,欣赏月华之美,享受人伦之乐。正如唐诗中所描述的那样:“皎皎秋空八月圆,嫦娥端正桂枝鲜。一年无似如今夜,十二峰前看不眠。”
