纳兰性德是清前期最重要的词人之一,其作品无论在当时还是后世都有极大的影响力。从上世纪三十年代开始,陆续有一些国内外的译者开始了对纳兰词的英译。时至今日,已有超过首纳兰词被译为英文。尽管纳兰词英译的数量已经不少,但其译文质量却参差不齐,国内外学者对纳兰词英译的研究也还存在很大的空白。对出自不同译者之手的纳兰词英译文展开比较研究,有助于在纳兰词的翻译过程、翻译方法、美学再现等问题上展开更为深入的思考。
Nalanxingde is one of the most important Ci poets in the early Qing Dynasty. His works have great influence both at the time and the later ages. Starting from the thirties of the last century, some translators from home and abroad began the English translation of Nalan words. To date, more than the first Nalan word has been translated into English. Although there are quite a few English translations of Nalan words, the quality of their translations is uneven. There is still a big gap between the domestic and foreign scholars’ research on Nalan words translation. A comparative study of the English translations of Nalan words from different translators helps to carry out more in-depth thinking on the translation process, translation methods and aesthetic reproduction of Nalan words.
