背景:记者今天从最高人民检察院了解到,11月14日,云南省临沧市检察院因临翔区埃灯珠宝店、临翔区瓦城珠宝店、临翔区何氏百货店、沧源县咪咪小卖铺销售假药侵犯众多消费者合法权益的四起案件,分别向临沧市中级法院提起民事公益诉讼。据悉,该四案是检察机关开展提起公益诉讼试点工作以来,由检察机关作为公益诉讼人提起的首批消费民事公益诉讼案件。(11月24日《检察日报》)
Background: Today, the reporter learned from the Supreme People’s Procuratorate that on November 14, the procuratorate of Lincang City, Yunnan Province, for the project of Linde District E-lamp Jewelry Store, Linxiang District Dacheng Jewelry Store, Linxiang District Ho Department Store, Cangyuan County Mimi small shops selling counterfeit drugs infringement of many consumers legitimate rights and interests of the four cases, respectively, to the Intermediate Court of Lincang filed a public interest litigation. It is learned that the four cases were the first cases of consumer public interest litigation filed by the procuratorial organs as public interest litigants since the procuratorial organs initiated the pilot work on public interest litigation.
