在静电演示实验中,电风(离子风)吹灭蜡烛火焰是一个十分精彩的实验,它能形象而直观地演示尖端放电现象,颇受教师和同学们的欢迎。电风吹灭蜡烛火焰的实验装置的示意图如图1所示。金属针尖用导线和感应起电机的正电极或负电极相连接。但这个实验不尽人意,有时金属针尖虽然也带上了负高压电,但金属针尖有时却不但不能吹灭蜡烛火焰,反而会吸引蜡烛火焰的反常现象,这现象我们在实验中常常会观察到。有的书籍和文章也已叙述了这个现象,但未作出令人满意的解释。在许多普通物理的教科书上是这样叙述这个实验的:用导线将金属针尖和感应起电机的任意一个电极相
In the electrostatic demonstration experiment, the electric wind (ion wind) blowing out the candle flame is a very exciting experiment. It can vividly and visually demonstrate the tip discharge phenomenon, and it is popular among teachers and students. A schematic diagram of an experimental device for blowing out the candle flame by electric wind is shown in FIG. 1 . The metal tip is connected to the positive or negative electrode of the induction motor. However, this experiment was unsatisfactory. Sometimes metal needles were also exposed to negative high voltage. However, sometimes the metal tips not only failed to extinguish the candle flame, but also attracted the candle flame anomalies. This phenomenon is often observed in experiments. To. Some books and articles have also described this phenomenon but did not provide a satisfactory explanation.
