听障大学生听力的丧失使他们缺少获得外界信息以及与外界沟通的渠道,但是他们的认知中还有一个重要特点:根据感官补偿说,某一感觉通道有缺陷,其他感觉功能会自动增强,他们具有较常人更好的视觉和触觉,学习会更加专心。因此,研究多样化、符合听障学生身心特点、满足他们个性化需求的教学方法、更新教学观念是教学改革发展的必然趋势,对于培养听障大学生外语素养和综合能力、提高教学质量意义重大。
The hearing loss of hearing impaired college students makes them lack access to outside information and channels of communication with the outside world, but they also have an important feature in their perception: According to sensory compensation, a sensory channel is defective, and other sensory functions are automatically enhanced. They have better vision and touch than ordinary people, and learning will be more focused. Therefore, researching diversification, meeting the physical and psychological characteristics of students with hearing impairments, meeting their individual needs in teaching methods, and renewing teaching concepts are the inevitable trends in teaching reform and development. It is of great significance for the development of hearing impaired college students’ foreign language literacy and comprehensive ability and improvement of teaching quality.
