大地园林化是建国初期毛泽东主席提出,并经党八届六中全会明确的目标。本文通过合肥的实践,从科学的城市规划是实现大地园林化的前提、城园一体是实现大地园林化的重要途径、城乡一体绿化是实现大地园林化的重要手段、环巢湖时代对实现大地园林化提出更高要求的四个方面说明:早期城市开敞式总体规划结构,构成城市的楔型绿地系统,并通过环城公园敞开式布局,以带状公园连结老城区四角的公园绿地,形成若同一串镶着数颗明珠的项圈,开创了我国以带串块的公园系统先河,为城市园林发展奠定了城园一体的坚实基础,成为全国首批园林城市之一。1993年又结合大环境绿化,提出建设森林城市,就是为了缩小城乡差距,促进城乡共同繁荣发展。明确:城镇园林化,山岗森林化,农田林网化,尽快提高城乡绿化覆盖率和增加城乡绿化面积,提高园林、林业在国民经济生产总值中的比重。2011年,城市从濒临巢湖到环抱巢湖,为大地园林化展现了更大的发展空间。尤其,当前开展城镇园林绿化提升行动,以提高大地园林化的艺术水平和绿化质量为目的,进入了实现大地园林化的高级阶段,迅速形成“大湖名城、创新高地”的环境特色。
