重读闭音节是超音段的一个重要特点,也是学习者掌握的重点和难点,尤其是此闭音节体现在词的层面上使学习者难以把握,分不清哪些重读闭音节词在词尾发生曲折或派生变化时需要双拼。本文在陈龙华对英语重读闭音节体系列表的基础上,解释了A型重读闭音节及其节尾辅音双写现象;阐述了这一现象的出现并非偶然,而是由深刻的历史原因造就。本文在分析其成因的基础上进而提出了此类重读闭音节词的辨认方法。
