劳特轧机实质是由四辊轧机与二辊轧机合成的一种不对称复合式轧机。这种轧机的特点是两工作辊直径相差悬殊,小辊空转,靠摩擦传动。与相应的一般对称式轧机比较,其主要优点为:(1)小工作辊更换容易,便于辊型的调正与配套,且各轧辊的直径不必严格要求一致,便于轧辊的制造、使用与管理;(2)小辊不受传动条件限制,直径可以更小,以降低变形抗力,与对称式多辊轧机比较,其轧制过程易于稳定、以及轧机建造也较容易等等。故近来不对称复合式轧机在板、带材生产,尤其是冷轧生产中得到应用。劳特轧机最初利用复合式轧机的基本原理,自诞生迄今,虽有百年的历史,但是对这种轧制过程的研究
The actual rolling mill is an asymmetric composite mill that is composed of four-roll mill and two-roll mill. The characteristics of this mill is the difference between the two work roll diameter, small roller idling, by friction drive.
