5月15日下午,天津警备区积极响应党中央、中央军委号召,广泛开展资助灾区活动,全区现役、民兵预备役官兵、退休老干部和人武部职工家属踊跃捐款。截至目前,共捐款100万兀。四川汶川地震灾情发生后,警备区党委高度重视,迅速召开会议安排部署,要求官兵积极为灾区人民“送温暖、献爱心”。
