长薄鳅Leptobotia elongata（Bleeker）隶属鳅科、薄鳅属，分布于长江中上游江段及其支流，为长江上游特有鱼类，是一种既可观赏又可食用的名优经济鱼类，是鳅科鱼类中生长最快、个体最大的一种。常见个体0．20～0．40千克，最大个体达3．0千克。
