眼内新生血管病变是一类严贵影响视力的疾病。目前,除全视网膜激光光凝外,尚缺乏简易有效的治疗方法。近来,α-干扰素应用于实验及临床治疗新生血管病变取得了良好的效果。由于α-干扰素可以抑制细胞胸腺嘧啶脱氧核苷的转运与磷酸化,进一步抑制细胞DNA的合成及其通过有丝分裂S期而抑制其增生。它可有效地抑制血管内支细胞的生长与迁移,故可抑制新生血管的发生;日前,新生血管的发病机理及α-干扰素的药理学作用机理尚未能从分子生物学水平完全阐述清楚,但其效果肯定。
