Know your business and employee leaders must learn to fully experience their own business. In companies that do not have a culture of execution, leaders often do not understand what the business is doing everyday. They get some indirect information only through reports from subordinates, but the information is filtered-largely due to the personal factors of the information collector and the individual preferences of the leader. In-depth working style can lead the leader to establish closer relationship with the staff, so that the leader can have a better intuition about his own business and the staff engaged in the actual business. This relationship will eventually make people more effective in carrying out their tasks - because in addition to fulfilling their tasks, they will also consider personal relationships with you.
