The Seventh National Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering Youth Symposium was held on March 25-27, 1998 in Wuhan University of Hydraulic and Electric Engineering (Yichang). The meeting was jointly organized by Youth Science and Technology Committee of China Water Conservancy Society, Youth Science and Technology Working Committee of China Hydropower Society, Science and Technology Department of Ministry of Water Resources, Wuhan University of Hydraulic and Electric Engineering and China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research.
