1991年9月9日至14日,第六届全国历史文化名城报纸经验交流会在湖北省襄樊市举行。35家历史文化名城报纸的50位代表参加了这次会议。会议比较集中地讨论了历史文化名城报纸如何批判地继承、发展历史文化,将其与社会主义新文化相结合,以促进具有中国特色的社会主义新文化的形成和发展,发扬名城文化优势,办出名城报纸特色等问题。有15位代表结合办报实践,就如何办好我国历史
September 9 to September 14, 1991, the Sixth National Historical and Cultural Cities newspaper experience exchange was held in Xiangfan City, Hubei Province. Fifty-five representatives from 35 historic and cultural cities participated in the conference. The conference concentrated on discussing how historically famous newspapers succeeded critically in the historical and cultural newspapers, developing their history and culture, integrating them with the new socialist culture, promoting the formation and development of a new socialist culture with Chinese characteristics, and promoting the cultural superiority of the city Famous city newspaper features and other issues.
