今日,中国当代版画的发展面临着来自内部系统与外部环境的双重压力。前者是指从中国现代版画的肇始——鲁迅倡导的新兴木刻运动到社会主义发展初期政府对版画事业的推动。这一阶段不仅为中国版画发展历程中的转型期与制高点,同样在中国艺术史上也是绝无仅有、承前启后的重要篇章。与社会之变革休戚与共、与人民之生活息息相关的特性,使得该时期版画所取得的成绩、建立的地位无法为其他艺术类型所媲美、企及。后者是指当下艺术界的现状——当代艺术崛起后对版画市场的挤压、冲击。一言以蔽之,历史的包袱、现实的挤压是影响中国当代版画发展的两个重要因素。
Today, the development of contemporary Chinese prints faces the dual pressures of internal system and external environment. The former refers to the impetus of the printing industry from the beginning of the modern Chinese prints - the emerging woodcut advocated by Lu Xun to the initial stage of socialist development. This stage is not only the transition period and the high ground in the development of Chinese prints, but also the unique chapter in the history of Chinese art. The characteristics of solidarity with the social changes and the people’s life make the achievements and the established status of the prints of this period not to be matched or matched by other art types. The latter refers to the current status quo of the art world - the squeeze and impact on the print market after the rise of contemporary art. In a nutshell, the burden of history and the squeeze of reality are two important factors that affect the development of contemporary Chinese prints.
