在外科手术治疗方面任何器官都有标准化而公认的手术术式,但在放射治疗方面照射方法却各不相同,没有一个标准化的治疗基准。日本在放疗方面,目前存在有两大问题。一是没有一个由放疗医生共同制定的、针对每一器官的治疗标准,一是没有对实施放疗的病例进行全国性登记。因此,尽管放疗例数庞大,但对每一器官的例数和治疗效果却难得有清楚的估计。此外,由于对放疗的适应证不明确,同样的病例在某医院可能采用根治疗法,而在另一个医院就可能采用姑息疗法。
There are standardized and accepted surgical procedures for any organ in surgical treatment, but the method of irradiation in radiation therapy is different, and there is no standardized treatment standard. In Japan, there are currently two major problems in radiotherapy. One is that there is no standard of treatment for each organ that is jointly developed by radiotherapy doctors. First, there is no nationwide registration of radiotherapy cases. Therefore, despite the large number of radiotherapy cases, it is difficult to have a clear estimate of the number of cases and therapeutic effects of each organ. In addition, because the indication for radiotherapy is not clear, the same case may be treated with root therapy in one hospital and palliative care may be used in another hospital.
