40岁以上人群因变形性骨炎(Paget’s dise-ase PD)受累者,其特征是骨痛、骨畸形、患骨折、骨肉瘤和神经机能障碍的危险性较高。患者尿羟脯氨酸排泄增多和血清碱性磷酸酶活性升高,可作为监测疗效的生化指标。镓可引起尿钙和羟脯氨酸排泄减低,提示它能干扰骨的更新。 作者研究4例活动性PD(男1,女3),年龄64~76岁。在过去6个月未进行过PD治疗,无其它代谢性骨病或系统性疾病及明显实验室检查异常的资料。每例住院15天,前5天接受5%葡萄糖静脉
People over the age of 40 who suffer from Paget’s dise-ase PD are characterized by a high risk of bone pain, bone deformities, fractures, osteosarcomas and neurological disorders. Patients with increased urinary hydroxyproline excretion and serum alkaline phosphatase activity can be used as a biochemical indicators of monitoring efficacy. Gallium can cause urinary calcium and hydroxyproline excretion decreased, suggesting that it can interfere with bone regeneration. The authors studied 4 cases of active PD (male 1, female 3), aged 64 to 76 years. No PD treatment in the last 6 months, no other metabolic bone disease or systemic disease, and evidence of significant laboratory abnormalities.
