岑溪县地处广西壮族自治区的东南部。该县自1985年到现在仅仅8年时间,花岗石开采和加工,从无到有飞速发展。现已成为全国最大的花岗石生产基地之一,是该县经济的一大支柱产业。 全县到1993年底经批准开采的国营、集体、个体、联合体、外商独资、中外合资的花岗石矿山已达168座,从国外引进花岗石板材生产线5条;全县现有圆盘锯760台。1993年共生产荒料10.25万m~3,生产板材229万m~2(其中毛板占60％),完成产值6亿元。占该县工业总产值的50％。 Suixi County is located in the southeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. The county has been mining and processing granite for only eight years from 1985 to the present, and has developed rapidly from nothing. It has now become one of the largest granite production bases in the country and is a major pillar industry in the county.
