Hepatitis G virus (HGV / GBV-C) is a non-A-hepatitis E virus discovered in recent years. It belongs to the genus Flaviviridae and is a positive strand single-stranded RNA virus. Its genome length is about 10 kb. Retrospective studies have shown that HGV is transmitted by parenteral routes such as blood and blood products, leading to acute and chronic hepatitis and is globally distributed. Hepatitis G research has become a hot topic in the field of hepatology, but many problems remain unclear yet to be explored in depth. Our department in 1996 to carry out the detection of hepatitis G, the paper on the detection of serum samples were analyzed to further clarify the prevalence of HGV infection.
