Grice’s Cooperative Principle and Conversational Meaning Theory are used to analyze the two rounds of dialogue between God and Job and the breach of conversational code in The Book of Job. The results show that God did not respond directly to Job’s question of suffering and injustice, but intentionally violated the principle of association, norms and norms of quality to convey the deeper meaning of the conversation so that Job could deduce that God indirectly and implicitly Fully responded to Job’s allegations and doubts. Analyzing the hidden meanings of dialogue in the Book of Job title from a pragmatic point of view helps to understand the implicit and implicit meaning of the dialogue between people and gods.
