Ancient novels often show similarities in the plot. Give people a “patchwork”, “grafting” feeling. Some typical novel fiction episodes have almost become the mode of creation and are “borrowed” for a long time and across boundaries. For this reason, we can generalize the “plot mode of the novel”. This kind of plot mode plays a very important role in the development and evolution of novels. It ensures the stability and continuity of the tradition of the novel, which is not what people usually think. It is a corroboration of the lack of novelty and mediocrity in novel creation. Taking “Novels of Unofficial Kings” as analysis object and exploring the performance of conventional and unconventional patterns in the court case novels are quite new ideas.
