(一) Dawson 1951认为一相百日咳菌在Silverthorne氏的肝浸液血培养基上生长不如土豆甘油培养基上好,但我们证实了Silverthorne氏的肝浸液瓊脂培养基能使一相百日咳菌生长的比在土豆甘油培养基上厚,且在毒力、免疫力等方面仍很好。另外我们发现在该培养基上生长之菌苔较乾粗。并因工作方便用羊肝浸液代替了牛肝浸液。 (二) 用国际及地方性百日咳菌種各一株,在一号羊肝浸液血瓊脂培养基,二号羊肝浸液羊血土豆甘油培养基,三号羊血土豆甘油培养基,四号羊肝浸液羊血及含腖土豆甘油培养基以及五号羊血含腖土豆甘油培养基上进行试验,证明在该五種培养基上菌 ??形、血清学、毒力、毒性、家兔皮膚壤死试验以及免疫力等方面均一致无差别。唯在一、二号培养基上,生长之浓度较三号培养基浓7—8倍,但菌苔发乾且粗糙。在四号培养基上生长之浓度较三号培养基浓10倍,但菌苔仍光润不粗糙。 (三) 用四株一相百日咳菌,两年来用四号培养基生产百日咳原液130批,并作了多次免疫力试验,充分证明该培养基在保证质量的前题下可增加产量5—10倍。
