书评的艺术性,可以从很多方面反映出来。这里只谈四个方面。一、美的思想内涵。书评是一种心灵活动,是评论者对读者和原著作者的心灵的交流。评论者首先要做到的就是把自己的心袒露给读者和原著作者:1、对原著要认真、求实,要忠实于原著,使自己的理解符合原著的精神,不歪曲,不断章取义;要发掘原著的真实价值,弘扬其内在精华,使原著通过自己的正确评论在读者心间产生影响;评论不是注释、解说,更不是盲目的吹捧或粗暴的批判,评论是理解、是选择,是一种创造,这种创造,不仅是拓展原著的观点和学术视野,更重要的是开掘出原著未曾揭示的更新、更深的内涵。2、对读者要坦诚,评论者要认真地把自己对原著的研究成果奉献给读者,使读者读完评论后感到比自己原来思路更开阔了,立足点更高了,更深地领悟到原著的思想内涵。
