从新课标的要求及近两年中考试题的发展趋势看,对学生的数学思维能力及创新要求越来越高。在日常教学中能否促使学生的数学解题能力和数学思维水平有较大幅度的提高乃至质的飞跃,很大程度上取决于教师选编例习题质量的高低。这就要求数学教师在研读新课标、探求中考命题规律及动向的基础上,精选教材典型例习题并进行变式教学,引导学生学习和探究,挖掘出它所蕴涵的数学思想方法,达到以少胜多、触类旁通的功效。
