I. INTRODUCTION The research and application of concrete admixtures have been in China for 30 years, but it has been relatively rapid in development and application for nearly ten years. The application of ordinary water-reducing agent, superplasticizer and composite water-reducing agent has greatly improved the performance of concrete, accelerated the construction progress, promoted the development of concrete technology, and made it possible to produce high-strength concrete (C60-C80) and fluid concrete. And it has achieved remarkable results in saving cement, saving energy, and improving project quality. However, many units still lack understanding of the performance and application technology of various additives, and some manufacturers do not publicize it.
