社会身份认定的不确定性、社会比较的劣势以及社会认同中小群体的存在构成了新生代进城务工人员社会认同过程的主要特点。而这种社会认同的不确定性与他们中的一部分人走上犯罪道路有着密切的关系。只有从权利保障、文化建设、组织归属三个方面实现了真正的市民化,新生代进城务工人员在社会身份上才能形成准确定位而获得城市归属感,在社会比较过程中才会感受到公平公正而减弱相对剥夺感,在社会认同上才能打破狭隘的“三缘”划分而减少拉帮结派现象,从而从根本上达到预防和减少这一群体犯罪的目的。
