作者用正常成年人的新鲜颌骨制成人牙周膜的实验标本共１３５个，其中拉伸实验试件１００个，压缩实验试件３５个，并初步测定了人牙周膜的弹性模量，得出了牙周膜的拉伸弹性模量为３．３５～４．５９ＭＰａ；压缩弹性模量为Ｏ．５４０２（土０．３４８）ＭＰａ。
