SIGI PLUS是ETS为学生及其他寻找工作的人建立的指导系统,用于帮助人们对自己的教育发展或职业发展进行规划。早在20世纪60年代,ETS的有识之士就开始筹划开发计算机软件帮助人们在职业选择时进行决策,以迎合人们对职业指导的需要。1981年SIGI PLUS首次正式出版,1996年成功地与WINDOWS结合。经过近30年的研究和努力,SIGI PLUS渐渐成长为一套成熟的系统,可提供给每个参与者直接的指导意见,并提供大量详细的职业信息供参考。
SIGI PLUS is a guidance system ETS provides to students and others looking for work to help people plan their own educational or career development. As early as the 1960s, ETS people of insight began planning the development of computer software to help people make decisions about their career choices to cater to the needs of career guidance. SIGI PLUS was first published in 1981, and successfully combined with WINDOWS in 1996. After nearly 30 years of research and efforts, SIGI PLUS has gradually grown into a mature system that provides direct guidance to each participant and provides a wealth of detailed career information for reference.
