丝绸是我国传统的出口商品,在对外贸易中占重要地位。近年来,我真丝绸出口占国际市场出口贸易总额的40%左右,畅销西欧、日本、香港和中近东等一百多个国家和地区。因此,做好丝绸出口商品广告的英译,无疑是很有意义的.本文拟对丝绸广告(包括商品品名,商标以及商品介绍文字)的英译问题作一些初步的探讨。
Silk is a traditional export commodity of our country and occupies an important position in foreign trade. In recent years, I really silk exports account for about 40% of the total export volume in the international market, selling more than 100 countries and regions in Western Europe, Japan, Hong Kong and the Middle Near East. Therefore, it is of great significance to do a good job of English translation of advertisements on silk export commodities.This paper intends to make some preliminary discussions on the English translation of silk advertisements (including product name, trademark and product introduction).
