砀山县具有多年瓜棉套种习惯,2010年全县西瓜种植面积20万亩,以大棚、中棚和小拱棚种植,其中瓜棉套种面积10万亩左右。由于西瓜、棉花市场行情较好,大棚瓜棉套种的亩收入在10 000元左右,小拱棚瓜棉套种的亩收入在5 000元左右,全县2010年瓜棉套种平均每亩收入在7 000元左右。预计2011年全县西瓜种植面积将超过25万亩,瓜棉套种面积达到20万亩。笔者近几年在下乡技术指导过程中了解到,本县瓜农在瓜棉套种生产中存在着
