1 Foreword The reconstruction of a plate provides a prior understanding of the continent and the ocean’s previous distribution, the nature of plate interactions, and ultimately the mechanism of plate tectonics. Various observations have shown the relative movement between continents and the resulting distribution and divergence of fauna. When the mainland drastically changes its geographical location, some major changes can be expected in climate-sensitive fauna and flora. Positive-looking microorganisms that respond directly to sunlight also show significant growth changes associated with different latitudes and sun dip.
