大学英语的教学目标是培养学生的英语综合应用能力,特别是听说能力,使他们在今后学习、工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地进行交际,以适应我国社会发展和国际交流的需要。然而,作为交流一部分的听力并没有在大学英语教学中得到应有的重视。独立学院大学生的英语学习现状普遍上更不容乐观。研究表明,学习动机对学习效果的影响最为明显,因此,老师如何采取合适的听力教学策略,激发学生的学习动机,尤其是内在学习动机,实现大学英语的教学目标,实现表达与交流功能,并为学生的后续学习奠定良好的基础,这是合格的大学英语教师应该思考和行动的课题。
The goal of college English teaching is to cultivate students’ ability to use English comprehensively, especially their listening and speaking abilities, so that they can effectively communicate in English in the future study, work and social interaction to meet the needs of social development and international exchange in China. However, listening as a part of communication has not received the attention it deserves in college English teaching. The status quo of English learning among independent college students is generally less optimistic. The research shows that the motivation of learning has the most obvious influence on the learning effect. Therefore, how teachers should adopt proper listening teaching strategies to motivate students’ learning motivation, especially internal motivation, achieve the teaching aims of college English, and achieve the function of expression and communication For students to follow the study to lay a good foundation, which is qualified college English teachers should think and action topics.
