水力发电不仅能在极短的时间内启动(从启动指令到额定功率运转只需五分钟左右的时间),而且跟踪负荷的响应速度快,电力系统的电力品质高。水力发电作为不可缺少的大规模可再生能源,近年来再次受到人们的重视。东芝公司作为全球性企业之一,为履行其“防止地球暖化和确保稳定能源供给”的职责,一直致力于扩大应用可再生能源的水力发电,迄今已有116年的水轮发电机制造历史,向全世界供应的水轮发电机和发电电动机的总台数已超过1400台,总功率在52000MVA以上,是日本屈指可数的制造企业。 Hydropower can not only start in a very short period of time (only about five minutes from start command to rated power), but also respond quickly to tracking loads and power quality of the power system. As an indispensable large-scale renewable energy, hydroelectric power has received more and more attention in recent years. Toshiba, one of the world’s leading companies, has been devoting its efforts to expanding hydroelectric power generation using renewable energy to fulfill its role of “preventing global warming and ensuring a stable energy supply.” To date, 116 years of hydroelectric generators The total number of hydro-generator and generator motors supplied to the world for manufacturing history has exceeded 1400 and the total power is above 52000MVA, making it one of the few manufacturing companies in Japan.
